As time passes asthma is beginning to become one of the most common respiratory diseases on the planet. What really causes asthma is an allergic reaction to either one or many allergens. The rest of exposure to these allergens is that the asthma sufferer begins to suffer asthma attacks such as breathlessness and tightening of the chest. The more processed foods we consume and the more we pollute our air the more the number of people who suffer from this painful disease increases.

However on the bright side for those who are suffering from this condition is that there are a great number of natural cures which are very effective in curing asthma. Many of these remedies are fairly easy to implement and find as well as they don’t cost a lot of money. Many of these things you probably already have in your kitchen.

One of the most famous of home remedies for asthma is apple cider vinegar. This natural cure has been very effective in the majority of cases where sufferers have used it. The beauty of this home remedy is it works really fast and you can start seeing results within one day. You just need to take one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar after your dinner preferably during bed time. You will have to dilute it with water and you can determine just how much you want to dilute it. However apple cider vinegar smells really strong and tastes very strong. Apple cider vinegar is also effective in treating various allergies, acne, and acid reflux and many other conditions.

People have been using Bitter gourd root to cure asthma since ancient times. The root is first made into a paste and then taken with honey or juice. All you need to do to use this remedy is to take a teaspoon of the paste every night for about a month and you will begin to see results fairly quickly.

Another old and natural cure for asthma is garlic something we all have in our kitchens. You just boil around five cloves of garlic with about ¼ cup of milk and take it once every day. If you are in the early stages of asthma this should do a good job of getting rid of it. You can also pop in two cloves of garlic in ginger tea and drink it twice a day. This is something that will save you a lot of trouble in the future.
