There are many people who have accepted losing their hair as part of life and simply do not want to apply chemicals to their  scalp. Of course, for those who do, there are companies who have created hair loss treatments that work for some of them.  Still others would rather have a natural hair loss remedy.

Being sensitive to natural hair loss isn’t unique to modern man as Native Americans used Aloe Vera to provide healthy hair  and scalp injuries. Combining the gel from the Aloe Vera plant with wheat germ oil and the milk from a coconut makes an  effective shampoo and has shown promise as a natural hair loss remedy.

Similarly, Native American nations in the southwest have used jojoba oil as a hair treatment as it works as a moisturizer and  works like the naturally produced seburn. Henna is another natural herb which works as a hair conditioner, protecting it  against breaking and is used as part of a natural hair loss remedy.

Herbs Have Medical Ties to Preventing Hair Loss

Many wonder why the benefits of a natural hair loss remedy aren’t trumpeted loudly and answer is simple. Claims can not be  made without FDA approval and the process to obtain that is long and costly. No one is willing to spend the time and money to  promote something that is readily available and can’t be held for exclusive use.

Many herbs used for medical purposes have been around for centuries and their use in medicine is now becoming more  acceptable. A natural hair loss remedy has been used for centuries as well, you just don’t hear a lot about it because,  frankly, there’s no money in it. In fact some of the hair loss treatments used centuries ago are part of the commercial  products today.

As hair is a root growth from the body, the increased circulation from the use of Ginkgo Biloba will carry more blood and  nutrients to the hair root. Green tea is believed to be helpful in stopping the growth of an enzyme which inhibits hair  growth. Pygeum, from bark of an evergreen, is said to help treat prostrate problems and work as a natural hair loss remedy  too.

Saw Palmetto an element in many commercial hair loss treatments is used as a natural hair loss remedy and has also been shown  to protect the prostrate provided the treatment is from the berry extract and not the dried berries.
