What are these 5 Tips in lowering your Blood Pressure Naturally?
Weight: OK I know this in not the most popular topic but don’t feel bad YOU’RE NOT ALONE. I was reading an article the other day that said 67% of the human population can lose some weight. We all know how we got there. One bite at a time, don’t make this hard on yourself a great tip is instead of focusing on some dreadful diet, just focus on controlling one bite at a time again. Start eating smaller portions. It took years to put on extra weight, be patient take control one bite at a time.
Alcohol: Limiting alcohol consumption to one drink per week can really help lower your blood pressure. So they say but in my research I have found that some people believe you should have a glass of wine each day. So who do you believe. Here is the deal. Can’t limit yourself to one drink a week. How about starting with just eliminating ONE drink a DAY. It all starts with you and as they say “taking baby steps”. If you do use alcohol at least try and use it in moderation. There are a lot of calories in the beer or drinks. Calories equal weight, over weight equals you know PRESSURE.
Exercise: This is without a doubt one of the best things you can do. Most physicians recommend 30 minutes a day three to five times a week. We all know we need to do it but it’s not as easy as it sounds is it. After all we are busy and by the time we do have some down time we want to RELAX not exercise. So how can we help ourselves and still enjoy our down time and fit this crucial element in. Don’t park so close to your job, at the grocery store, at the mall. Just making little adjustments in our daily lives can help. Walking alone will help make your heart stronger just fit it into your actual daily activities and the next thing you will notice is you want to do more of it.
Stress: Yeah right tell me about it. We know it’s a killer. We deal with it everyday right? So how does one solve this. It may be easier than you think. A great tip helped me was this. At the time you are feeling stressed ask yourself “If I know this was the last day of my life would I really care?” And if you hold yourself accountable and honestly answer that question you will find it’s not really that important. What is important is you and your health right? Of course,so learn to let it go and relax it’s the actions that you take that can solve your issues. Not the feeling of stress. Hope that makes sense.
Diet: We heard it before but this is so imperative and it is not as hard as one might imagine if you just know what to eat. Consuming a low in sodium and saturated fat is a no brainier. Stay away from prepackaged meals for starters. Throw in some natural fruits and vegetables once in a while. Again this goes back to weight issues. Instead of focusing on some great big change focus on the little things you can control without some big dramatic change.
Finding a home remedy for controlling high blood pressure is really just a matter of doing some research, gaining knowledge on what to do and apply that knowledge. If you focus on just doing little positive steps each day before you know it you will have reduced and or cured your hypertension.
With any medical condition, you should always consult your health care provider before beginning any type of natural remedy. These natural remedies have been shown to help alleviate high blood pressure, but your blood pressure should still be closely monitored by your health care provider. Since there are rarely symptoms of hypertension it is important to do regular check ups, and follow all orders from your doctor.
